Hi there! It's been great to begin to see many of your masked faces again at Mass. Please continue to do what is best for your own health & safety. We will be here, but we also want everyone to be as healthy & safe as possible, so please do not put that at risk to come to Mass for the time being.
Our new policies & procedures seemed to work well for the first Masses. I will be speaking before each Mass this weekend to welcome you back & remind everyone of those policies & procedures.
One question that I've been asked a few times is about the need for RSVPing for Mass. Some parishes have put into place the practice of those who are planning on coming to Mass either via phone call or online, calling up to the parish to let them know. Those practices have been put into place due to the need to not have more than 50% capacity in the Church at a time. At this point in time, we don't have such a system in place. With the most recent attendance count this past October we didn't reach 50% capacity in the Church at any Mass so we don't believe we will now either. There will be people at the doors of the Church counting the attendance this weekend. When we look at the numbers early next week we will determine if there is a need to put an RSVP system in place here. I will let you know when I know.
Thanks & God Bless!
